missingWrote a review on Dec 15convenient locationample parkinglack of cleanlinesspoor serviceinconvenient access
The parking situation worked well, and the location was quite convenient. However, the overall cleanliness of the room was disappointing, with hair found in the bed and shower. Service issues included unresponsive staff when key cards malfunctioned, which resulted in frustrating delays. Despite the potential for enjoyment, the lack of proper upkeep and support overshadowed the positives.

Kinda rough around the edges
We stayed for 2 nights in a double room. The place felt super dated and really hot inside. Plus, no elevator? Just stairs all the way to the third floor! On the bright side, the microwave worked great and the bed was decent. If you're looking for budget, just be ready for some quirks.

Had a great time with friends! We explored Parker's Pocahontas State Park and enjoyed the outdoor vibes. The room had cable programming, which was awesome for our downtime. Just a heads-up for future guests, the breakfast selection is pretty basic, but overall, we loved our stay and recommend it for budget trips.
One downside was dealing with a rude staff member when checking in. The key cards were also a hassle, as they kept deactivating and made it frustrating to enter our room.

missingWrote a review on Nov 27comfortable bedconvenient locationgood amenitiesstrange odorpoor management
The room had a comfortable bed and decent space for moving around. I appreciated the location, close to shops and parks, which made it easy to explore. The TV worked well, providing a good selection of channels, and it was nice to have a fridge available. However, there were notable issues. The bathroom door didn’t lock, which felt awkward, and the room had a strange odor that lingered. I faced a frustrating wait for clean towels at the front desk. I asked for them multiple times and still had to wait. It didn’t leave a positive impression. Overall, I enjoyed the amenities but felt management could improve their responsiveness and room conditions.

So, the hotel had a decent microwave, which is something I guess, and the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good. But honestly, the carpets felt like they hadn't seen a cleaning in ages.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but I thought it would be fine for the price.

We had a great time during our group trip! The location was convenient for visiting Parker's Pocahontas State Park and enjoying the nearby attractions. The room had an LCD television with cable, which kept us entertained after our daily adventures. Overall, a fun stay with friends!
Our experience was marred by the lack of towels in the bathroom, which was inconvenient given the long climb up to our room.
